Joint U.S. Regional Arts Organizations Statement on MacKenzie Scott’s Continued Support
We are deeply grateful to MacKenzie Scott for her continued investment in our work. Her renewed support, following a transformational 2021 gift, reflects extraordinary confidence in the US Regional Arts Organizations’ shared mission to strengthen arts and culture across America.
The 2021 gift inspired us to expand our work as a collective, resulting in four national programs that have provided over $30 million in support to arts organizations and artists. This continued support will bolster our ability to foster a sustainable national arts infrastructure, expand our reach, and deepen our impact across all 50 states and six jurisdictions.
We know that the arts are essential to creating vibrant, connected places. Together, we are strengthening the creative ecosystem and ensuring that creativity continues to shape American life by supporting artists at every stage and helping art organizations thrive. We are honored by this investment and committed to maximizing its impact nationwide.
